Kate Kallot
Kate Kallot (born 1991 or 1992)[1] is the founder and CEO of Amini, a Nairobi-based startup that uses satellite imaging and artificial intelligence to collect and analyze environmental data in Africa.[2]
Career[edit]
Kallot has previously held roles at technology companies such as NVIDIA, Intel, and Arm, where she focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Her career has included initiatives aimed at applying technology to social issues.[3]
In 2023, Kallot founded Amini with the intent to create technologies tailored to the specific needs and challenges of African environments. [4]
Beyond her role at Amini, Kallot serves as an advisor on AI to international organizations and governments, and is involved in youth-oriented programs like "Teens in AI."[5]
