Katelyn Rothney is an emerging Canadian-born novelist and screenwriter.
She was born in Oakville, Ontario, Canada on April 29 1993. She attended the Bishop Strachan School, later moving to Pennsylvania to complete her undergraduate degree at Bucknell University. In 2015, Katelyn moved to New York City in 2015. Katelyn’s writing primarily focuses on coming-of-age stories centered on complex political and social climates.
Her work features women and children protagonists tackling issues such as discrimination, violence, oppression, mental health illness or disability. Her career ambitions include becoming a career novelist and personally adapting her literary works for the screen.
