Kathleen B. Jones is an American feminist author who specialises in the life of Hannah Ardent. She has won several grants and awards and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Örebro University, Sweden.
Early Life[edit]
Jones was born in February 1949 in New York. In Living Between Danger and Love: The Limits of Choice,[1] she states how she felt her mother was distant and would often leave Jones with her grandmother, causing a close relationship to form between the two. After Jones' Grandmother's death in 1966, she 'stopped' believing in God.
As a young girl, Jones had Polio, which caused her grandfather to quit drinking.[1]
