Kathleen Tan is an Singaporean businesswoman who was previously the AirAsia China president. In June 2016, Tan was made the airline's president of North Asia. The appointment marked Tan’s return to AirAsia after leaving the low-cost carrier in 2013, after nine years as its Regional Head of Commercial to head AirAsia Expedia as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tan was then promoted to the AirAsia China president in June 2017.[1] She was responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for AirAsia Group in China. Tan left AirAsia in October 2018.[1]
