Sky Wee Yao Liang (born May 28, 1997) is a Singaporean entrepreneur, Web3 investor, and cryptocurrency influencer. He is the founder and managing partner of Sky Ventures Labs, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on blockchain, DeFi and AI projects. Wee is also recognized as an official Binance Key Opinion Leader (KOL), and is active as a strategic advisor, angel investor, and Web3 advocate across numerous emerging technology ecosystems.
Early life and education
Wee was born and raised in Singapore. From a young age, he was active in gaming and digital content creation. He began as an esports player and streamer, later becoming a lifestyle influencer and esports team founder. He pursued his higher education at the National University of Singapore: NUS, where he focused on business and technology-related studies.
Career
Wee initially gained recognition in Southeast Asia’s gaming and esports industry. Transitioning into blockchain and Web3, he founded Sky Ventures Labs, an investment firm that supports early-stage Web3 startups with capital, growth strategies, and ecosystem partnerships.
