Kathleen H. Meehan (born c. 1955) is the former Republican mayor of Melbourne, Florida. She is the first female mayor of Melbourne. She is employed as a Sales Representative with Meehan’s Office Products and has also worked as a Case Manager with Community Care for the Elderly.
She is the daughter of Merril Harding Lunn and his wife Joyce.[2] She became a naturalized American citizen in 1967.[1] She moved to Melbourne in 1979.[1]
Prior to her terms on the City Council, Meehan had been a member of the Melbourne Planning and Zoning Board.[3]
Meehan served two terms as the council member from District 3,[1] and served as vice mayor of Melbourne in 2007 and 2010.[1]
Meehan was President of the Board of Directors of the Space Coast League of Cities for the 2009-2010 term.[1]
