Katie Corio is an American model and fitness competitor.
Early life and education[edit]
Katie Corio was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[1][2] She moved to California in 2012. At 18, she began studying kinesiology at the San Diego State University in California.[3][4][5]
Career[edit]
She began competing as a bikini contestant in 2014. Corio won first place at the NPC Muscle Contest California, Bikini Novice. In 2015, Corio competed and won first place in the NPC Ferrigno Legacy competition.[6][7][8]
In 2016, Corio competed in the bikini division of the 2016 NPC Junior Nationals.[9] During the same year she started posting her workout videos on social media and gained a large following.[10][11] She started giving fitness training lessons and launched her own active wear brand Corio Active in 2019.[12][13][14][15][16][17][excessive citations]
In 2017, Corio competed and won the 142lb weight class in the USPA Powerlifting Smash Weight Open.[18][19]
