Kausik Bhaduri (born 26 September 1958) is an Indian writer born in Howrah, West Bengal and currently living in Orissa. He is known for his Bengali writing Erkagraph. Besides being a writer, he is also a mechanical engineer and works as a Senior Manager at National Aluminium Company lmt, Orissa.

Early life[edit]

Kausik's Bhadhuri was born in Baghbazar. He spent his first 23 years in Santragachi, Howrah and attended school at Santragachi Kedarnath Institution, Howrah. He earned a B.Sc. from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He became a Marine Engineer (B.Sc., B.O.A.T, A.M.I.E. Mech).[1]

Working life[edit]

He worked at Kolkata Port Trust from 1977 to 1981. The next two years he spent working at sea and then joined National Aluminium Company lmt, Nalko, Orissa. Presently he is a senior manager of the power plant division of the company.[1]

He started writing at the age of 15. In 1977, he published a Little Magazine with friends. He took up writing again after many years.[1]
