Local elections were held in Barangay Kay-Anlog, Calamba City, in the province of Laguna, Philippines, on October 29, 2007 for the Barangay Chairman also known as the Punong Barangay. Also being elected were the SK Chairman and 7 posts for the Members of the Sangguniang Barangay also known as the Barangay Kagawad, as well as the Members of the Katipunan ng mga Kabataan also known as the SK Kagawad.
For the first time since 1982, incumbent barangay chairman Basilio Panganiban did not run in the barangay election since COMELEC prohibits the barangay official to serve for more than three successive terms in accordance with Republic Act No. 6679.[1]
