Kayla Short (born August 14, 1986) is an award-winning Canadian blogger, columnist and TV personality. Short's work focuses on fashion, beauty and travel. She currently remains as creative director of the award-winning[1] website ShortPresents.com which she founded in 2009 [2]. Short also maintains a column [3] with The Huffington Post where she discusses fashion and beauty, as well as a style contributor and fashion panelist with Fashion Magazine, and on-air tv personality with CTV and CBC television. In 2016, Short was recognized by The Huffington Post as one of Canada's top fifty personalities, alongside other notable Canadian's such as Drake, Chris Hadfield, Justin Trudeau, Carey Price and Winnie Harlow.
Early life[edit]
Short grew up in Cape Breton Island moving to Halifax to study and pursue a career as a writer. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University with a major in English, and later obtained her teaching degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. After completing her studies Short began her website ShortPresents.com as a creative outlet for her writing.
