Javanshir Kazimov (Azerbaijani: Cavanşir Kazım oğlu Kazımov;[1] Russian: Джаваншир Казым оглы Казымов;[2] born 27 December 1950) is an Azerbaijani professor at Baku State University.
In 1968 he entered the faculty of mechanics and mathematics of Baku State University and in 1973 graduated from the university.
The university's research computing center engineer-programmer, junior researcher, the head of the lab and worked as the head of the department.
In 1983, he was elected to the post of senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Baku State University.[3]
In 1984, the defense made for the degree of candidate of science.
Currently, an associate professor in the department of applied mathematics and information technology and programming works as Dean of the School of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics.
