Rodney Kefas Namisi, best known as Kefas Brand,[1][2] is a Ugandan Actor and Entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Think Media Uganda, a Broadcasting Company under which is Think Tv Fm and Think Tv Uganda.[3][4] He was recently appointed as CEO of Lot Fire Records an independent music recording company based in Uganda.

Early life and education background[edit]

Kefas Brand was born on May 24, 2001, in Mbale District, Uganda, to Sir Samuel Kefas Namisi and Mariam Namisi. He is the second of five children. His siblings include Namisi Eric Vincent, Namisi Arnold Paul, Namisi Govin Emma, and Princess Elizabeth Praise.[6][7][3]

He attended Mbale Secondary School for his O-level education and later Seroma High School in Mukono. He studied Journalism at Makerere University where he attained a BA Honours Degree. Additionally, he trained in Performing Arts and Drama at the Identity School of Acting in London.[8][9]

Career[edit]

Kefas Brand's acting career began during his elementary school years as an entertainment prefect.[10][11]

In 2020, he produced his debut film, "Lucky Winner," under Think Tv Uganda.[8]

Kefas Brand is known for acting inspirational and advocacy films.

Personal Life and Health[edit]

Kefas Brand has been in a relationship with Katushabe Fridaus since 2023.[12]He enjoys listening to sad music and watching football.

Kefas has expressed interest in politics and plans to participate in the future.[13][14]

Health[edit]

In 2016, Brand underwent brain surgery following an accident.[7]

Kefas Brand is an advocate for a healthy lifestyle and substance avoidance among youth. He promotes this message through his public platform, encouraging young people to stay away from drugs and substances.[7]

Kefas Brand stands at 1.75 m (5'8") and bears a striking resemblance to British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris.

Community activism[edit]

Kefas Brand supported the homeless children in his hometown with aid.[15]
