Ken Wright (American politician)
Ken Wright is a Georgian politician and the founding mayor of the city of Dunwoody, GA.
Political Career[edit]
He served as mayor of Dunwoody from its founding in 2008 till 2011 when he stepped down to focus on his family and businesses.[1][2] Before serving as mayor, he was the chairman of the committee for Dunwoody city-hood and president of the Dunwoody homeowners association.[2],[3] In 2018, he stood as a republican for election for the Georgia House of representatives for the 79th district.[2] He lost that election to Mike Wilensky.
Personal Life[edit]
Write grew up in Dunwoody, and attended North Springs High School.[2] He holds bachelors degrees in political science and criminal justice from the University of Georgia.[4] Outside of politics, he has created a number of healthcare software start-ups.[3] He and his wife have two children.[2]
