Kenadi Dodds (born October 25, 2004) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She became noticed after participating in the 15th season of the reality competition show America's Got Talent.
America's Got Talent
Dodds auditioned for America's Got Talent during the 15th season.[1] She auditioned with an original song called "One Way Ticket" [2]. After her audition, she received four yeses, one being from Eric Stonestreet who filled in for Heidi Klum for part of the season.[3] At the Quarter-Final audition, Dodds performed another original song called "Dancing Through the Stars" that was written for her sister Alexis. [4] In the Semi-finals, Kenadi sang a cover of Be a Light by Thomas Rhett and the next day during the results, Kenadi was almost eliminated but due to online fan voting, she advanced to the Finals. [5] For her Finals performance, she sang Love Wins by Carrie Underwood [6] She finished in the bottom 5 of the top 10.
Music
Dodds has written multiple original songs and does covers on her YouTube and social media also. On June 14, 2021, she announced her original song "One Way Ticket" was studio recorded and going to be her first released single released in the future. @kenadidoddsmusic (June 14, 2021). Family
In the Dodds family, everyone but Kenadi has an eye condition called Retinitis pigmentosa that takes away your vision slowly until you go blind.[7]
