Kerry Surman is a DJ from Cumbria in the North West of the UK who has a huge passion for Techno, and has played many festivals, clubs and parties all over the North West of the UK. She grew up learning a variety of musical instruments, notably the Piano, the Saxophone and the Flute, and played in a 1940's style dance group and classical concert group throughout her Teenage years.
She concentrated on having a family from a fairly young age, and then was asked to DJ at a party by a friend in 2015 as they enjoyed tracks she posted on Facebook. She said yes despite never having DJed before, and joined a weekend DJ course she had brought her eldest son for a Christmas present....the gig was two months later. The gig went well, and she was then booked by word of mouth from that point on. In 2016, Kerry studied music production at the Electronic Music School in Salford Manchester.
Kerry has played at Solfest, Bedrock festival, Beatherder, and Sounds from the Other City music festival in Salford Manchester, as well as numerous free parties and club nights.
