Khagani Guluzade

Khagani Guluzade (Azerbaijani Xaqani Quluzadə; born 6 August 1977) is an Azerbaijani businessman.

Education[edit]

In 2013, admitted to the Executive Global Master’s in Management program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

PhD in Economics, defended a dissertation titled “Priorities of the state investment policy in the process of development of national economy”.

Has Master's degree in Finance from Azerbaijan State Economic University.

Has Master's degree in Law from Baku State University.

In 1993 he graduated technical and humanitarian lyceum No2 in Baku with the gold medal.

Career[edit]

Had been heading Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC[1] since August 2010 till October 2013.[2][3][4][5]

Served in a variety of senior management positions at leading Azerbaijani banks as a Head of the Committee for Assets and Liability Management, First Deputy Chairman of Board and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Overall management experience: 16 years.

Fields of expertise: banking, finance, investment, construction and industry.

Speaks four languages: Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Russian.

Personal life[edit]

He is married and has three children.

Fields of interest[edit]

In 1998 founded “Gizil Elcek” sports club (“Golden Glove”).[6]

Co-founder of Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation.

Awards[edit]

Top-Manager of the Year by the Europe Business Assembly in Oxford, UK in June 2011 and in London in 2013 (a vanity award).[7]
