Khairulaming or Khairul Aming (born Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman; 25 September 1992)[1] is a digital content creator, social media personality and entrepreneur in Malaysia.
Early life
He was born in Kelantan, Malaysia. He attended SMK Ismail Petra in Kota Bharu and later went to Vanderbilt University under a scholarship to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Content creation
He is known for his food-related content, where he prepared ingredients and cooked dishes and made drinks and desserts. He started to gain traction when he published a series known as "30 hari, 30 resepi", which can be translated as (30 days, 30 recipes), an annual series which started in 2018 where he shared ideas for suhur and fast-breaking in the month of Ramadan.[2][3]
In 27 Ogos 2023, he was awarded the Pencipta Kandungan Tahun Ini (The Content Creator of the Year) in the local TikTok award event.[4][5]
Entrepreneurship
Khairulaming is also a successful entrepreneur. He ventured in entrepreneurship through his product, sambal under the brand "Sambal Nyet" since 2021. The total sales of his sambal in 2021 is 540,000 bottles, a sale of 7.5 million ringgit[6] where in 2022, the total sales is around 14 million ringgit.[7] In 2022, he won the awards for Penjual Baharu Terbaik (Best New Seller) dan Khidmat Pelanggan Terbaik (Best Customer Service) from Shopee.[2][8]
