Khaled Adel Al Naserallah, (Arabic:خالد عادل النصرالله) born in Kuwait on 24th February, 1987, is a Kuwaiti author and co-founder of Nova Plus for Publishing and Distributing, and Al Khan for Publishing and Distributing which specializes in translating world literature to Arabic.[1]

His life[edit]

Khaled Adel Al Naserallah, is a Kuwaiti author and co-founder of Nova Plus for Publishing and Distributing with writer and engineer Abdul Wahab al Sayed Rifai. Also, he co-founded Al Khan for Publishing and Distributing which specializes in translating world literature to Arabic, where they were able to translate the works of big names such as Saadia Mufarreh and Ismail Fahd Ismail[2]. He graduated from Basic Education College with Bachelors in Physical Education, and he currently teaches in the Ministry of Education in Kuwait.[3]

Career[edit]

He wrote his first book titled “A Kuwaiti from another Planet” in his 20s and was published in 2007. During university, he worked as an editor in the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al Wasat” (جريدة الوسط). He also had a dedicated page to write articles and stories regularly in “Abwab” magazine (مجلة الأبواب). Many of his articles were also published in cultural page of “Alqabas” Newspaper. Khaled is a member of the “Tuesday Cultural Forum”, which was established in 1996, and an inaugural member in “Taleb Al Refaei cultural forum” which was established in 2012.

He represented Kuwait in the “Khaleji Cultural Forum” in 2012 in the field of short story. In 2013, he won the short story award which was organized by “Al Arabi” Magazine and BBC Arabic. His novel “Al Drk Al Ala” (الدرك الأعلى), was longlisted in Sheikh Zayed Book Award in the category of young authors in 2017.[4]
