The Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Sepngi is one of the constituent units of the Presbyterian Church of India. It has its headquarters in Shillong, Meghalaya. It has 854 churches and 339,737 members mostly among the Khasi people.
History[edit]
It was formed from the erstwhile Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod and was constituted on the 24th November, 2002 by Rev. H. Remthanga, Moderator, General Assembly, Presbyterian Church of India at the Mawkhar Presbyterian Church, Shillong, Ri Lum Presbytery.[1]
