Kiki Valentine (born Kristine Rakowsky, May 3, 1979) is a writer, producer, humorist, artist, and public speaker.
Outside of the arts she frequently aligns with elected officials and community groups in support of a number of causes, including the normalization of public breastfeeding [1] and the rights of lactating women [2]. She has been an instrumental civilian voice in the passing of several public health policies in New York City and New York State. [3][4]
In September 2018 she filed a Federal civil lawsuit[5] under her legal name with two co-plaintiffs against Presidential Donald Trump and FEMA citing that the President Text Alert is unconstitutional and a violation of several Amendments. On October 3rd, 2018 she appeared before U.S. District Judge Katherine Polk Failla in an emergency injunction hearing that was not granted [6]. The case is ongoing and civil rights attorney Normal Siegel is representing the plaintiffs [7].
