Biography[edit]
Kilnsey Green are an English Rock band from Bingley, West Yorkshire. Formed in 2017, the band consists of Ollie Lawn (vocals/guitar).[1], Ell Miller (guitar)[2], George Burrows (drums)[3] and Joe Doherty (formerly of Marmozets).[4] (bass)[5]
The band have self released two singles, to date, 'Anxious' (2017) and 'No Shoes, No News'(2018).[6][7] and a self titled EP (2019).[8]
Their debut single 'Anxious' was accompanied by a music video[9] shot and directed by British camera operator Darren Miller.[10]
Appearances[edit]
The band made their festival debut at Bingley Music Live in September 2018[11][12] alongside the likes of Noel Gallagher, Jake Bugg, The Cribs, Pulled Apart by Horses and Bingley's own Marmozets among others[13]. Kilnsey Green were granted the opportunity to perform through winning an emerging talent competition at The Exchange venue at Keighley's Musicians Centre.[14]
They made an appearance on BBC Radio Leeds in April 2018, and talked with presenter Alan Raw before performing three songs live on air.[15]
