King SweetKid
Kgotso Makgale[1] (born September 30, 1995), professionally known by his stage name King Sweetkid, is a South African Rapper, Singer and Songwriter artist.
Born in Heidelberg, Johannesburg. He started making music, mainly hip hop from the age of 14. In 2016 he released his first mixtape Sugar Season which put him on the rise to fame, making him one of the notable figures in South African Hip Hop. [2]
After dropping his project Sugar Season 3, in 2019, King SweetKid achieved hit singles with the bass-heavy “Drama” and the braggadocious “Top 5”. His Inside EP dropped in 2020, certifying his place in the music industry and included the single “Your Side” [3] which played on well-known South African TV music channels. In 2018 and 2019 he also landed features in South Africa’s top Hip Hop Magazine (HYPE). [4]
