History[edit]

2010-2013: Formation and Abominable[edit]

Kingdom of Giants was formed from the remains of another band and originally consisted of six members: Stephen Rezza (clean vocals, keyboard), Dana Willax (unclean vocals), Max Bremer (guitars), Stephen "Red" Martin (guitars), Levi Norris (bass), and Matt Harwell (drums). Shortly before the release of their debut EP, Abominable, the band announced on January 16, 2011 that Matt Harwell had decided to leave the band. In the interim, Matt Mavroudis would fill in on drums during tours until he was eventually replaced by Truman Berlin as the permanent drummer on July 25, 2011[2].

Abominable was released January 25, 2011.

On December 19, 2012, the band announced that Stephen Rezza and Truman Berlin had both left the band. Dana Willax would take over the clean vocals from Rezza and Matt Mavroudis would once again fill in as drummer for the band. Additionally, they announced that the release of their upcoming studio album Every Wave of Sound would be delayed to record new vocals.

2013-2014: Every Wave of Sound[edit]

After the delay caused by the departure of Rezza, the band's first full-length studio album, Every Wave of Sound was released June 25, 2013 through Bullet Tooth Records .

2014-2016: Ground Culture[edit]

In early 2014, InVogue Records announced they had signed Kingdom of Giants and that the band were in the process of recording a new album slated for an October release[3].

On June 17, 2014, the band announced that Julian Perez, who had been covering for Martin on tours, would officially join the band as a guitarist[4].

On October 21, 2014, the band released their second studio album, Ground Culture, which gained the band's first charting position on Billboard, briefly charting on the Top Heatseekers chart[5]

2016-2018: All the Hell You've Got to Spare[edit]

On May 5, 2017 the band released their third studio album, All the Hell You've Got to Spare, including guest features from J.T. Cavey of Erra on "Tunnel Vision" and Daniel Gailey of Phinehas on "Lost Cause". The album debuted on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart at a peak position of 16.[5]

2019-present: Signing with SharpTone and Passenger[edit]

In early 2019, the band signed with SharpTone Records and released the music video for their new single "Bleach".[6]

On October 16, 2020, the band released their fourth studio album, Passenger, with guest features from Michael Barr of Volumes on "Blue Dream" and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox on "The Ride"
