Kiran Dutta popularly known as The Bong Guy. He is a Youtuber, Actor, Singer and song writer. Kiran is the first Bengali Language content creator from West Bengal..[1]  [2]

Early life and education[edit]

Kiran is a Bengali born in Rajasthan. Later on, his family moved to Dhubulia, Nadia in West Bengal. Kiran went to Dhubulia Deshbandhu High school after Higher secondary he moved to Kolkata to pursue civil engineering from Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Garia Kolkata.

Career[edit]

'The Bong Guy' launched his YouTube channel in 2015 but he has started taking YouTube seriously from 2017, He became popular among the mass in the same year for his contents. He is mainly famous for his comedy witty videos and original music videos. Kiran has launched his 2nd YouTube channel called 'Your Bong Guy' where he uploads vlogs and gaming videos.

Works[edit]

'Opekkha' was the first music video Kiran was featured in. This was followed by ' The Lockdown song', which had become very popular.  In 2021 Kiran Has made his debut in web series named as Time up. Kiran's Debut film was Kolkata Chalantika directed by Pavel.[3]

Kiran has collaborated for a music video with KKR for its Anthem 'KKR Taiyaar hai'. He has also collaborated with famous actors of both Bollywood and Tollywood industry. In 2018 he has been associated with Dev for the promotion of Hoichoi Unlimited and this year again hecollaborated with Dev and Prosenjit Chatterjee for the promotion of their film 'Kacher manush'. He has also been associated with the promotion of his debut film Kolkata Chalantika with his co-star Sourav Das and the director of the film Pavel. In 2019 Kiran has been collaborated with the Bollywood Star Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt to promote their Film 'Kalank'.

Kiran was the part of India's first Metaverse Stand Up Comedy event organized by Eno and Hosted by Comedian Zakir Khan. In 2021 Kiran was featured in 'Ishq with Nusrat' hosted by actor Nusrat Jahan, Off late he has been part of a Cooking Show 'Chef It Up' with Chef Sanjyot Keer.

Kiran is the first and only bengali creator to feature on Netflix YouTube channel on their show Menu Please, Kiran bought them throughout the famous places to find out best pujo foods.
