Kochadai is a northwestern neighbourhood of Madurai,[1][2][3] in the state of Tamil Nadu in the peninsular India. It is located at an altitude of about 166 m above the mean sea level with the geographical coordinates of 9°56′35.2″N 78°04′51.2″E / 9.943111°N 78.080889°E
(i.e., 9.943100°N, 78.080900°E). Madurai, Arappalayam, Koodal Nagar, Vilangudi, Thuvariman, Thathaneri, Simmakkal, South Gate and Yanaikkal are some of the important neighbourhoods of Kochadai. Kochadai has an industry, Sundaram Industries Pvt. Ltd. (TVS Rubber factory).[4]
