The team failed to reach the semi-finals.
On 12 September 2020, RFC Kochi was rebranded as Kochi City FC, which was announced through its social media page.
Crest
Unveiled in 2018, RFC Kochi's first crest featured an anchor in the sea and two stars. The anchor in the sea represents Kochi Port City, which is very ancient.
After renaming the club from RFC Kochi to Kochi City FC, a new logo was launched. The anchor remained in the new logo with two dolphins on either side and a football between them. A Kochi city sketch is on the background. The logo is designed by Deepak Sudhakar.
