Koen Weustink (born 2000) is a Dutch-Portuguese former competitive swimmer who grew up and trained in Vila Real, Portugal. He is a multi-time regional and national champion and a former national record holder, known for his specialisation in butterfly and backstroke events.
Career Highlights
Weustink was a prominent swimmer at the youth level in Portugal, competing for the Ginásio Clube de Vila Real (GCVR). His career was marked by several significant achievements:
- National Record: He held the national junior record for the 50-meter butterfly in a short course (25-meter pool) with a time of 25.29 seconds.[1]
- National Champion: During the 2017/18 season, he became the national champion in the 50-meter backstroke.[1]
