He completed his tertiary education in 2001 at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he studied Business Management Studies[4]. At UCC, he also did some work with the now defunct Radio Valco[5]. He then travelled to the United Kingdom to further his education in the University of Nottingham where he studied Estate Development.

Kojo Yankson practised as an estate developer in Nottingham for a couple of years before returning to Ghana. On his return, he ventured into radio at ATL FM as the host of their morning show. After a couple of months at ATL FM, Kojo Yankson was poached by the Multimedia Group to become the host of the Joy FM Super Morning Show[4]. He aired his first episode on 7th April, 2014.

After a series of controversies, Kojo Yankson was taken off the Joy SMS[6] in February 2018 to join the team on Joy TV hosting the AM Show and occasionally appearing as a news anchor on JoyNews and the Pulse.[7]

However in May 2020, Kojo Yankson was brought back to radio as the host of the Super Morning Show.[8][9]
