Khloe Oluwabusayo Victoria Abiri (born October 29, 1993) professionally known as Khloé or KokobyKhloe is a Nigerian media personality, actor, socialite, model, businesswoman, and entrepreneur. She was a top 10 finalist on the Big Brother Naija 2018 season and was the first ever housemate to be recalled to the big brother house after being evicted.[1]

She founded a clothing and fashion line, KokobyKhloe, which recently expanded into cosmetics and other beauty care products.[1][2]

Early Life[edit]

Khloé was born in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria and is the first daughter in a family of six. She is of Yoruba descent from Ayegbaju and Ikole Ekiti, in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Khloé attended Uppermost Nursery and Primary School, and after her secondary school education at Lagos State Model College - Meiran,[3] she acquired a degree in Accounting from Tai Solarin University.[4]

Career[edit]

Khloé began her career in entertainment as a model and video vixen[4] in 2011 appearing in several music videos for several Nigerian artistes including, Davido, Wizkid, Patoranking, Shaydee and Banky W.[2] In 2013, she was a finalist at the Miss Global Nigeria beauty pageant, which was eventually won by Michelle Udoka and in 2015 she was also a finalist at the Miss Charismatic Nigeria, which was won by Linda Nwaora.[1] As a model, Khloe has gone on to work with a few notable Nigerian photographers and agencies including Paul Ukonu, Sunmisola, Spotlight, Abu Salami and Rob Media.[5][3]

In 2018, Khloé was selected as one of the housemates in the 2018 season of Big Brother Naija, going on to become Head of House.[3][2] She was surprisingly evicted from the Big Brother House in the early stages of the show alongside her partner K-Brule, but alongside fellow contestant Anto Lecky, she was voted back on the show by the audience, making them the first contestants to be recalled to the Big Brother house after being evicted in the history of the Big Brother Naija reality show competition.[1] She went on to finish as one of the top 10 finalists in the competition.

Khloé has featured in several Nollywood movies, notably Unforgivable and Omonikara. She also featured on Season 5 of Funke Akindele's critically acclaimed television series, Jenifa’s Diary.[6]

In October 2018, she featured alongside Miss Nigeria 2017 winner Mildred Ehiguese in a stage play titled "Stolen".[7]

In September 2019, Khloé called to question the iimpartiality of the organizers of the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Nigeria show, referencing her disqualification from the Big Brother House during her own season on the show.[8][9]

Other Ventures[edit]

In 2016, Khloé founded her clothing and fashion house, KokobyKhloe, for which she gained notoriety as an entrepreneur, expanding the brand to include a cosmetics and skin-care line. In 2018, she was made the Ambassador for Girl Project Nigeria[10] and on Children’s Day, May 27, 2019, she launched KokobyKhloe Kiddies a foundation in support of at risk children.[11]
