The Kokomo BobKats are an American professional basketball team based in Kokomo, Indiana, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL).
History[edit]
On August 11, 2020 it was announced that Kokomo, Indiana would be awarded a franchise for the upcoming 2021 TBL season.[1]
On September 4, 2020, Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League (TBL), announced a new franchise called the Kokomo BobKats owned by Jeff & Sondi Beeler and Mark & Kristin Jansen.[2] The league was interested in expanding into Kokomo, and local ownership decided to finance team. [3]
