Kolhapur bus accident

On 26 January 2018, a mini-bus travelling from Ganpatipule to Pune fell into the Panchganga river after crashing through the railings of Shivaji Bridge in Kolhapur resulting in the deaths of 13 people. Maharashtra Police and fire brigade led the search and rescue operations with many people still feared missing after the accident.[1][2][3]
