The Konstanz shooting occurred at 4:30 a.m. on 30 July 2017 in Grey, a nightclub on Max Stromeyer Strasse in Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.[2] A 34-year-old Iraqi Kurdish man who had lived in the city for more than 15 years and was the son-in-law of the owner entered the club with an M16 rifle.[3][4] He opened fire, killing a doorman and seriously injuring three other people.[3][2] The police shot the gunman dead.[2]
