Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu (KKPA), literally translated as Coimbatore Lake Protection Organization, is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to restoration of water bodies and environmental conservation in and around the Coimbatore District in the Tamil Nadu state of India. The organization was formed by a small group of determined and dedicated youngsters to restore the water bodies in and around Coimbatore to their pristine past. These youngsters committed to working for 3-4 hours every Sunday to help rejuvenate, restore, recover, and reclaim the once bountiful water bodies and lakes surrounding Coimbatore. The organization was subsequently registered as a trust on the 5th of February 2017, with Mr. R. Manikandan serving as its Managing Trustee, marking the beginning of a transformative journey towards the restoration of water bodies and environmental preservation. The organization's slogan (இதயத்தின் ஈரம் கொண்டு, புவியின் ஈரம் காப்போம்.) is in Tamil and translates to "Let's Conserve the Moisture of the Earth with The Moisture of the Heart.” This slogan has been inspiring numerous volunteers to be a part of the organization's continuous efforts for environment conservation.
