The Kreuz Werl (German: Autobahnkreuz Werl) is a cloverleaf interchange in the Metropolitan region Rhine-Rhur in the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.
The motorway interchange forms the connection between the A445 Werl-Neheim-Hüsten and the A44 Dortmund-Kassel. [1]
Geography
The motorway interchange lies within the city limits of Werl im Kreis Soest. The surrounding villages are Wickede (Ruhr) and Ense. Nearby city districts are Werl-Mitte, Büderich und Blumenthal.

Both motorways are built in a 2x2 layout. All connections have one lane.
The motorway interchange was built as a cloverleaf.

Approximately 80,000 vehicles use the interchange on a daily basis.

The portion of the A40/A44 between the Kreuz Kaiserberg and Kreuz Werl is traditionally one of the most congested sections of Autobahn in Germany.[3]
