Krikey AI is a San Francisco-based artificial intelligence (AI) animation company that converts videos to 3D character animations using generative AI. It also has a browser-based video editor with voice AI dialogue that uses ElevenLabs and Amazon Polly, a Canva app, and an Adobe Express Add-On.[1][2][3]
History
The company was founded by sisters Jhanvi Shriram and Ketaki Shriram in 2017 as an augmented reality gaming company[4][5][6][7] after the former worked at YouTube and the latter at Google and Facebook.[8] In 2018 and 2019, Krikey AI released an augmented reality game with the Audubon Society,[9] one with the Ellen Fund,[10] and one with Conservation International.[11]
The company's Series A funding round was led by Jio Platforms with the release of a game called YAATRA,[12] and as of 2020, Krikey AI had raised $22 million.[13][14][15]
