Tierazon is a freeware fractal-generating computer program [1] written in the C programming language in 1998 for Microsoft Windows by Stephen C. Ferguson. Tierazon produces a great variety of detailed images with smooth colour shading and often spectacular colour. It was released in June 2022 by Tad Boniecki.

Tierazon has a simple GUI interface[2] with 117 built in algorithms [3]and you can easily specify your own. [4]This means it can draw an inexhaustible set of images. It has an array of 53 filters that can completely change the look of the image. Tierazon has three sets of colour controls that allow considerable fine-tuning of colours. It has no help, but is straightforward to use and the zip file contains instructions. Tierazon has few bugs and runs fast. It also allows you to make fractal movies by specifying the start and end of a zoom sequence. The program saves files as BMPs. It can draw in Julia mode, allows inside-out rendering and anti-aliasing.

The Tierazon ZIP file (186 kb) contains brief instructions. There is no installation — it is enough to put the executable and dynamic-link library files in the same directory and start the exe file.
