Kristian Niemann (born 26 October 1971) is a Swedish guitarist who has performed for bands such as Therion,[1] Lithium, and Demonoid.
Niemann studied jazz at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. His style of playing mostly centers on legato, sweep picking, and the occasional use of two-handed tapping to play fast shreds. In 1996, his song "Industrial Type Thang" was featured in JSR Records' compilation Hottest Unknown Guitarists.
He is the brother of Johan Niemann. Nowadays, Kristian Niemann is involved in a few musical projects and is working as a guitar, bass and drum teacher in Åkersberga, Sweden.
