Krzysztof Goniewicz (born 12 December 1983, Lublin) is a Polish researcher specializing in disaster and emergency management. He is associate professor, habilitated doctor in the field of medical and health sciences at the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin, Poland.[1] His area of research focuses on disaster and emergency management, health security and civil-military co-operation. He is the author of more than 170 research papers published in various science journals. [2][3][4][5]

Life and scientific career[edit]

He graduated from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. In 2019, he obtained a doctoral degree in health sciences from the Medical University of Warsaw.[6] In 2022, he received a habilitation in medical and health sciences from the Medical University of Lublin. [7][8] Since 2016, he has been employed at the Polish Air Force University. [9]
