Kuba Jewgieniew (born 1977)[1] is a real estate businessperson known for being the CEO and Founder of Realty One Group, a real estate franchisor based in California.[2][3][4]

Early life and career[edit]

Jewgieniew was born to Polish parents, Elizabeth and Jerzy, who migrated to the United States. He completed his Bachelor’s in Economics from University of California, San Diego and graduated in 1999.

Jewgieniew started his career as a financial planner and portfolio manager, reportedly closing more than 100 transactions and $30 million in sales in his first year as a real estate agent. He was also a computer programmer.[2][1]

He established Realty One Group in 2005 with a 100-percent commission model. In the first year, the company had 250 real estate professionals and $102 million in sales.[5] Jewgieniew expanded the company by acquiring Arizona-based John Hall & Associates and California-based brokerage eVantage Home Realty. As of 2019, the company employed over 13,000 real estate professionals in over 280 offices in the United States and Canada.[6] Realty One Group has been featured in Inc 5000 rankings for seven consecutive years from 2009 to 2015.[7]

Jewgieniew pledged $11,111 to start 2019 fundraising for ONE Cares, and recently donated another $11,111 to the Stop Abuse for Everyone, a non-profit organization.[2]

Recognition[edit]

Jewgieniew was ranked in the Top 20 on Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) list as one of the Most Powerful People in Residential Real Estate for 2014-15.[8] He was also recognized as a RISMedia 2019 Real Estate Newsmaker.[9]
