John Sudheer Pudhota[edit]
John Sudheer Pudhota (born 29th December 1974) is an Indian film producer who has produced several Indian films including Emo Gurram Egaravachu (2013), Naruda Donoruda (2016), Kadaisi Bench Karthi (2017), Malli Premisthe (Due 2019), Voter (Due 2019), and Showtime (Due 2019). The films are produced under the banners 'Cherry Films' and 'RAMA Reels' in Tamil and Telugu languages. Besides Producer, John is also an entrepreneur and the Chairman of RAMA Group.

Early Life[edit]
John was born in 1974 in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India. After schooling in 1992, he joined the Missionaries of the poor in Jamaica.
Career[edit]
After returning from Jamaica in 1994, John started working for his family business of supplying education materials to schools. In 1996, he went to Africa where he worked for a pharmaceutical company named Kas Medics in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The venture was marked by tremendous success and it spread out to a majority of East Africa, and certain regions of Southern Africa, including Mozambique. In 1999, he moved back to Asia, where he started a restaurant business. He successfully ran three restaurants in Pattaya, Coral Island, and Bangkok, Thailand. In 2001, he sold out the restaurants to his partner and moved back to South India, where he started his own import and export trading company.
2005-Present[edit]
John founded RAMA Group in the year 2005. The group is currently involved in diversified portfolios including health-care, education, business consulting, import and export, mobile application development, blockchain, and film and television productions. Since its incorporation, RAMA group is continuing to develop partnerships in India and abroad. The overseas partners are from several countries including Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The mission of the company is to unite Asia under a single entertainment umbrella. The company aims to become a market leader in the Asian entertainment industry.
Career in Entertainment Industry[edit]
John worked with several Indian movie producers before starting his own production company named “Cherry Films” in 2014, and produced "Emo Gurram Eguravachu" under this banner. In 2014, John established RAMA(Royal Asian Movie Awards) to commence Asian awards involving 45 Asian and Middle Eastern countries, and subsequently setup "RAMA Reels" in 2015. The company, post incorporation, has produced several Tamil and Telugu movies.
In 2017, John setup the first Indian-owned movie production company in Malaysia named "RAMA Uniting Asia Berhad". In the same year, RAMA group entered China as Shengya Culture and Media; post which it entered into partnership with a Shanghai-based production company named Uing Holdings. In April 2018, John signed an MOU with the Ningbo local government administration, which allowed him to setup the first foreign media company in Ningbo, China with the name "Hanya Culture and Media". Apart from movie production, Hanya is also working to setup a movie talent café in Ningbo to promote local movie talents and deal with content trading.

Honors and Awards[edit]
- John was honored as the 'Masterclass Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year' at the Far East Business Leadership Awards in 2016; organized by Sino-Europe Industry and Business Association, and the World Chinese Business Affairs Association.
- He was recognized as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential and Sustainable Entrepreneurs" by Asia Pacific CSR Council in November 2017, whose purpose is to advance the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
- In 2016, he was rewarded the honorary title "Datuk" by the Indonesian Royals.
