Kumari Sweta, also known professionally as Singer Anu Pandey (1994-present) is an Indian singer trained in Indian classical music, lyricist and live performer.
She has sung many original songs, folk songs, cover songs in various languages such as Hindi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi etc.
Early Life
Kumari Sweta (Anu Pandey) was born to a middle class family in Maheshpur, a small village in Gopalganj district of Bihar state (October 1994). Her father is a farmer and mother is a housewife.
Education
Sweta completed her schooling up to higher secondary at H/S Jamunaha Bazar in Gopalganj, then she joined BBN College (Baba Bhoot Nath College) to study Arts. Later she joined JP University (Jai Prakash University) to pursue Bachelors of Arts including Music. She also joined Masters in Music to gain expertise in this field.
Starting phase of interest in music
Sweta was trained in Indian classical music, Harmonium. Her interest in music was there since childhood. From a very early age, she started performing in many stage shows and functions. Later on, she started singing in albums, at jagrans and other musical functions also.
Music career
She has been a renowned singer mainly in UP/Bihar region.

She has been working with various big music companies (like "Yashi Music" having audience around 4430000 (4.43 million), "Shubham Films" having audience around 844000 (0.844 million), "Shreshth Bhojpuri", "Palak Music Bhojpuri", "BABA HARIRAM ENTERTAINMENT", "Sawan Entartainment", "VINAYAK MAURYA FILMS", etc.) as a lead part of many songs/albums, which surface on the platforms like Gaana[1], Apple Music[2], JioSaavn[3], Wynk[4], Hungama[5], Amazon Music[6], SoundCloud[7], Tidal[8], YouTube Music[9], YouTube[10], Quobuz[11], etc.
She performs live in offline stage shows/programs, jagrans as well.
Recently she was covered in news and awarded while performing on stage in one of the largest Mahotsav of Bihar state (organized by government officials), Thawe Mahotsav[12].

Personal life & Social Work
She had a break in her career due to heart diseases which she recovered positively.
After successful heart surgery, she started helping rural girls by raising funds through her songs for their education.
Girls of rural areas consider her as inspiration, because she belongs to a remote rural area (particularly in Bihar), where girls haven't got all of their rights (women are confronted by discrimination, inequality, victims of child marriage, forced pregnancy, trafficking, gender-based violence against women and sexual assaults; inability to access food, education, employment).
She keeps fighting with society to be independent, despite facing many clashes, but coming up stronger every time.
She is working with various NGOs, for the uplifting of the status of girls in rural areas. She is trying to let more people connect with her songs/ideas and help in betterment of the status of girls in rural areas.
