Kyla Carter (Born August 17, 2006) is an American SAG/AFTRA/AEA actress, singer-songwriter, voice-over artist and podcaster. She is currently starring as CJ Suki[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] in the DreamWorks Animation Television series Trolls: TrollsTopia[2][3][12][13][14][4][15][5][16][6][7][17][8][10][18][11][19] airing on Hulu/Peacock and Trolls: The Beat Goes On![2][14][4][15][20][5][7][8][9][10][11] airing on Netflix.

Carter was born in Long Island, New York.[3][15][16][6][7][21] She started her professional career from 5yrs of age .

Career[edit]

Carter's professional stage career began at age eight in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music[22], directed by three time Tony winner Jack O'Brien. As part of the original cast, Carter performed in the principal roles of Gretl, Marta and Brigitta. Additional Broadway credits include the production of the National Broadway Tour of Irving Berlin's White Christmas[22] in the role of Susan Waverly in 2018 and 2019.

Carter's professional television career began at age five. Seen on HBO in The Leftovers[11] as Young Nora, and on Nickelodeon in Wallykazam!,[12][14][4][15][20][5][11] as the voice of Hattie the Witch.[12][14][4][15][11][20]

In 2020, Carter started a podcast called Kyla's Korner[23][21][24]. The podcast is featured weekly on The Mark White Show and several radio stations across the USA. The main message Carter relay's to listeners is to "Live Life Sunny Side Up."

Carter released her first music single "Average Puzzle Piece"[2][12][25][14][26][27] on February 12th, 2021. The lyrics in "Average Puzzle Piece" promote self-love and confidence. She further released many singles like Half Full Half Empty, 3Am and Karma . Karma and 3am become more popular among fans.[28][29]
