Kyle Gaedele, was drafted in the 32nd round by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008 out of high school.[1] The 6-foot-3-inch (1.91 m) Gaedele chose instead to attend Valparaiso University; he was selected in the June 2011 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres and he played minor league baseball as high as the Double-A level.[2] He was released by the San Antonio Missions in 2015.
Chicago Dogs[edit]
In 2018, Gaedele signed with the American Association's Chicago Dogs.[3]
Ottawa[edit]
On October 20, 2020, it was announced that Kyle Gaedele, would serve in the dual roles of hitting coach and outfielder for Ottawa (independent pro baseball). [4]

Kyle Gaedele is the grandnephew of Eddie Gaedel.[5]
