Kyle Yunaska (born 1983/84) is an American government official who is currently the Chief of Staff at the Energy Department’s Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis. He is the brother of Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.[1]
Career[edit]
Prior to his work with the Energy Department, Yunaska worked as an accounting manager for a non-profit.[2]
Work with Department of Energy[edit]
In February 2017, Yunaska was hired by the Department of Energy, despite no previous experience in any energy fields. The appointment was criticized as an example of nepotism, similar to criticisms of the official positions of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.[3][4][5][6]
Personal life[edit]
Yunaksa is the brother of Lara Trump (nee Yunaska), who married Eric Trump in 2014.
Yunaska was named one of D.C.'s "Hottest Bachelors" of 2013 by Inside Edition.[2]
