) is an Indian Hindi-language drama television series that premiered on 18 September 2023 on Zee TV. It streams digitally on Zee5. Produced by Guroudev Bhalla under Guroudev Bhalla Screens, it stars Manasi Joshi Roy, Navika Kotia, Himanshu Soni and Lakshya Khurana.
Plot[edit]
Ambika is the eldest daughter-in-law of the wealthy Rajgaur family. She adopts a girl, Kesar, when the youngest daughter-in-law, Hetal, asks for separation in the family and says a daughter-in-law is never treated as a daughter. So, Ambika vows to prove her wrong. She pledges to raise Kesar as her daughter-in-law, who will eventually marry her son Suraj. She sends Suraj to London to keep him away from Kesar.
12 years later
Kesar has grown into a mischievous young girl who lacks discipline, while Ambika tries to teach her moral values so that she can save the family from breaking up in the future. After finding out the truth about her adoption, Kesar vows to fulfill Ambika's pledge and turns over a new leaf. However, Jayati turns against Kesar when Darshan becomes mentally disabled after an incident. In reality, Jayati was the one who acidentally pushed her own son, but put all the blame on Kesar. Similarly, when Kesar exposes how Parveen has been slacking in accounting, which caused major loss for the business, Parveen, Jinal and their kids turn against Kesar as well. Ambika encourages Kesar to persevere and win their hearts once again.
8 years later
Kesar has grown into a lovely young woman who takes care of everyone in the family, despite receiving criticism. Suraj returns from London and agrees to marry Kesar to fulfill his mother's pledge. Eventually, Kesar brings back Hetal, Jinesh and Dhurvi to the Rajguar house, but Hetal continues plotting against her.During festice season she would try to harm her but without satisfactory result. She even tried to kill by pushing her inside syntax. But Kabir saved her. In the main festival she tried to harm her by putting fire inside the house. But her daughter (Dhruvi) will get involved then Kesar will save her due to which Hettal turns into a good person. Suraj because of Kesar who lost his family wanted revenge from Kesar. He tries every method to harm Kesar's business or her. During this time as Suraj have some anger issues he harms Kabir's friend due to which he goes into coma. To afford his friend's treatment Kabir agrees to work with Suraj to destroy Kesar's business even though it hurt him to see her getting destroyed as he is in love with her. Next we can seee that Suraj is a alpha dominant male who can not see his patner success and due to which his ex-grilfriend succide was related to him. So his ex-girlfriend friend comes to Suraj house and wants to say the truth to Kesar. Before this Kesar will have doubts regarding her relationship with Suraj. So Suraj will cover her with lies about his ex-girlfreind without any logic Kesar trusts him. Soon Kabir friend regain consiousness and Kabir now knows the truth regarding his comma. Now Kabir says it to Ambika,she trusts Kabir and doubts due to Suraj's recent behaviour due to which her and son relationship will be tainted. But Suraj and Kesar's relationship will be become stronger. At the end Kesar and Suraj marriage will go as planned even though Ambika and Kabir try to stop. During this period Dhruvi(Daughter of Hettal) due to some misunderstanding hears Kabir's confession due to which she starts to love Kabir and inturn expresses her love. At last Kabir confess his love to Kesar which she strictly reject and says she want to be friend with him. Heartbroken Kabir drinks and spends some time alone away from Kesar. After the marriage Suraj leave his bedroom abruptly during his first night with Kesar and comes home harmed morning. Ambika due to her doubts tries to seprate Kesar from Suraj for 21 days with the help of Pandith ji. Ambika tries to clraify her doubt regarding Suraj but emotional distance between them will further increase because of which Kesar promises herself to decrease distance. Suraj in other side promises himself to distance daughter and mother duo. Suraj tries every possibity to destroy Kesar till the extent to put fire in Kesar's company because of which Kesar knows the truth of Suraj that he was the behind every incident in the past and present and confronts him saying that she will make him to walk in the right path, improve Suraj's relationship with Ambika and lastly decide what to do with her relationship. Here Suraj with help of Hettal try to distance her with the family. Hettal's enemity is because without asking her Kesar had asked Kabir to marry Dhruvi which was indirectly caused by Suraj. On the otherside Jeenal hate Arti(Kabir's sister) and Hettal hate Kabir because of his status so Hettal joins hand with Suraj to destroy Kesar. Jeenal and Hettal try to fix their son and daughter marriage with others. Kesar relationship with the family is being destroyed as she is trying to mend Suraj's relationship with the family. Grandfather condition improves and after sometime he regains his consiousness and reveals that Kabir is illegitimate son of Dheeren and requests Ambika to accept Kabir.

Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai is produced by Guroudev Bhalla for Zee TV. The show is a fresh take on the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship. The series is based in Gujarat. Manasi Joshi Roy helped Navika Kotia with the Gujarati dialect.[1]
Casting[edit]
Manasi Joshi Roy was cast as Ambika,[2] and Navika Kotia was cast as Kesar, marking her first project as a lead.[3] Himanshu Soni was cast as the male lead, Kabeer.[4] Lakshay Khurana was cast as Suraj, the parallel lead.[5]
Dolphin Dubey as Hetal, Ekta Saraiya as Jayati, Vibhuti Thakur as Jinal and Akshy Mishra as Babu Bhaiya, were cast in prominent roles. Mishra returns to TV after seven years with the show.[6][7][8][9]
