It is headquartered in Westminster, California and has branches throughout the Greater Long Beach area and in Orange County. History[edit]
LBS Financial was founded in 1935.[1] [2] by Long Beach City College and Long Beach Unified School District employees. They began with a federal charter until switching to a state charter in 2000. Doing so led to the drop of the word federal from their name.
