Founded in 2016, Phlatbed is one of several technology companies that uses logistics services to offer on-demand delivery services by connecting people to local pre-screened drivers who can help them move stuff. In October 2017, Phlatbed conducted Retail Pilots at locations around New England at locations including IKEA, and other retail locations.

Phlatbed has raised investments from investors including Connecticut Innovations, and Oni Chukwu.[2]
