LEADTOOLS
LEADTOOLS is a library of imaging components for software developers. This software development kit (SDK) is created and produced by LEAD Technologies.[1]
LEADTOOLS offers features that can integrate imaging into cross-platform applications.[2] Components include Optical Character Recognition that allow users to read and extract text from scanned documents and convert images to text-searchable formats.[3] The SDK also includes ePrint, which allows users to save image files in many formats without a conversion program,[3] and a Medical imaging add-on that supports DICOM.[4]
The LEADTOOLS Media Streaming Server can be used to convert audio/video files to a variety of formats for consumption by any client.[5]
