The La Torre clan were an infamous Mondragonesi Camorra clan. Said to have been based out of Mondragone, the organization later expanded its operation to the Netherlands and, most notably, Aberdeen, Scotland.
History[edit]
The crime family was started by mobster Tiberio Francesco La Torre (Sr.). He had two sons: Augusto La Torre and Antonio La Torre.
Credited with being the financial brains of the criminal enterprise, Augusto took over the crime clan in the early 1980s. He travelled to Aberdeen in 1984 and set up a local La Torre operation to launder the profits from mafia racketeering.
