The guitar became Ladell's first true love, and by age 19 he was hired to play with Eddie Burks. He went on to perform at blues venues throughout the Midwest, at Buddy Guy's Legends. And learned onstage from the best in the business: Koko Taylor, John Primer, and Buddy Guy himself.[1]
